March 1st.

What can I say, discrimination across the world has happened to those who came from Wuhan, then those who came from Hubei, and those who are Chinese, and those who look Asian, then we realize from the very beginning, there is almost no escape for any of us.

I hope we can see that pandemics are a fight for everyone. Just like global warming, animal extinction, human rights, education, gender equality. The world is way too interconnected now to think that your loss isn't mine.

I recently researched more in-depth about the Holocaust, and one quote remains:

First, they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out - Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me.

Perhaps human nature deans us to discriminate against one another until we have found the common problem to fight for - another plague, climate change, attack of aliens.

Climate change, by the way, can melt ice and release some of billion-year-old ancient bacteria and virus that no humans have ever seen. Fun fun fun (*sarcasm)!

By the time when we finally unite, it might be because the problem is too big and it's already too late.
