One of my biggest learnings about authorities and human nature during "war-like times," unlike peaceful times, is to never listen to what they say, look at what they do, and look at the interests of those involved. Just my opinion:

It's also a paradox and a balancing act between three factors: containing the spread of the virus, ensuring economic and supply chain stability, preventing overcrowded and exhaustion of medical resources. You kinda can't have all three at the same time.

Oh, and don't forget public fear involved in this, ironically, nothing is more contagious than our own thoughts, even though sometimes they are false.


No virus will probably spread like fear, panic, and false information. What are the actions that the public will take under this sentiment? The government must ensure the fuel of supplies coming in to prevent civil unrest.
